Safety

TL;DR

We created a clean, crisp and modern website design for fire and security company SDC, showcasing their case studies and high quality work from around the nation.

Project Overview

SDC required a sleek website for their ever-growing business, showcasing their services and allowing customers to view their services. We built the site on the WordPress content management system, giving admins the ability to add and edit content, case studies and services.

SDC

Who are SDC?

Established in 2009, SDC Fire and Security provide fire alarms and security systems for the detection of fire and security threats to ensure the safety of life and property.

They have gone from strength to strength, now specialising in projects from simple small commercial intruder alarm systems, all the way to campus-wide CCTV systems with multiple integrations within the pharmaceutical sector.

SDC

Project Brief

SDC did not currently have a website, meaning they were missing out on reaching their potential target audience. They needed a website that allowed them to reach customers and showcase their services and work.

The client also needed to be able to access the website backend to add content – such as blog posts and case studies – allowing them to grow their website over time.

Our Proposal

The aim whilst designing the website was to ensure that it delivered information to potential customers, showing clear CTAs to encourage them to act. Our proposal also included:

Look and feel

After analysing the existing logo and branding, we decided to incorporate the recurring circle motif throughout the website design for consistency within the brand. You can see circle shapes used for all of the images, plus rounded corner buttons. Circles were also used to help create separation between sections and even on text underlines and hover effects.

The thenical Details

Using WordPress, we built a completely custom theme implementing the design we produced for both mobile and desktop resolutions. We also built custom WordPress blocks to make generating beautifully structured pages an easy task going forward.
